Dosage Basics

There is no universal CBD dose. Product labels state a serving size, and the common-sense convention is to start low and increase slowly while observing how you respond. Concentration (mg per serving) matters more than product volume.

European food-safety assessment of CBD is ongoing: EFSA has set only a provisional intake level for highly purified CBD in food supplements and states that safety cannot currently be established for people under 25, pregnant or lactating women, or people taking medication.
